If you’re here, we're guessing that you have, at least once in your life: stayed up too late tweaking a list you promised you were done with, brought a “quick trade binder” that turned into a whole situation, or cracked a pack and immediately were on eBay checking what kind of luck you actually have. That’s the energy. That’s the hobby.
This feed is Minted TCG putting a flag in the ground and saying, we want to build something useful for the community. Not just a store blog that exists because you’re supposed to have a store blog. We want this to be a place you can actually come back to. A place where a new player can get their bearings, and a seasoned player can still find something worth arguing about (in the friendly way).
We’re mostly going to be covering Pokémon, MTG, One Piece, and Riftbound, with a healthy mixture of tabletop and wargaming in the mix (maybe some traditional gaming too if it gets really hype). We’ll talk meta when the meta actually matters. We’ll talk decks when there’s new techs or builds to learn. We’ll talk collecting when it helps you not wreck your collection's momentum or your wallet's weight. And we’ll talk community because honestly, the people and the vibes are the reason any of this is fun in the first place.
We’re also not pretending TCGs are the only hobby worth caring about. If you’re a D&D person, a Warhammer person, or you bounce between cardboard night and dice night depending on your mood, you’re still our people. Tabletop is tabletop.
We’re not here to pump out filler posts that read like they were written by someone who has never shuffled a deck, rolled a save, or carried a mini case into a shop (or is generative slop). No fake hype. No content mill vibe. If we don’t have something helpful or interesting to say, we’d rather not say it and spend the time helping people in the store and online.
And yeah, we want this to be connected to PEOPLE. Our local players matter a lot to us. The folks who show up, teach new players, run leagues, bring goofy brews, drive long hours, play painted armies, and keep the scene alive. You’re the heartbeat. But we’re also excited to talk to the broader community too, because the best part of this hobby is how big it is. You can play a random matchup at locals on a Tuesday and then watch the same archetype show up across the world in a weekend stream.
So if you’ve got something you want us to cover, tell us. If your locals meta is weird, we want to hear about it (and how you're beating it). If you keep losing the same matchup and you’re sick of hearing “just draw better,” send it. If you’re new and you feel lost, ask the beginner questions you might be afraid to ask in-person. People who act like beginner questions are annoying are the fastest way to kill a community and we're about building people up without tearing anyone down.
That’s the whole point of this space. Helpful, readable, honest, and built around Minted's players and the community we've built together.
We're here to make this space the most Minted space on the internet.
